I have to admit that over the past year I have become more and more interested in creating beautiful and festive non-alcoholic mocktails. Easy to customize if you should prefer to imbibe, this spicy Gingery Pear Mocktail is as good for you as it is DELICIOUS!! I am literally obsessed and have been drinking this one all week! 🍐 🫚 🍹

Gingery Pear Mocktail

  • 4 Asian or Bosc Pears cored and chopped into 2” pieces
  • 4 lemons peeled and cut into four pieces
  • 1 lime peeled and cut into four pieces
  • 6” fresh ginger skin removed, chopped well (I like it spicy, adjust as desired)
  • 3 sprigs mint
  • 1 bottle sparkling water (to assemble the Gingery Pear Mocktail at the end)
  • cranberries (3 per ice cube)
  • Several sprigs of rosemary (or herb of choice)


🍹 First prepare your Gingery Pear Juice:

  • Add pears, lemons, lime, ginger and mint to a juicer (or a high speed blender if you don’t have a juicer) along with 1/4 cup of water, and blend well.
  • Once all the fruit and ginger have been juiced, strain the juice through a cheesecloth or strainer.
  • Pour strained juice into a glass container, seal and refrigerate until you’re ready to make your mocktail (your juice will stay fresh for up to 72 hours).

🍹 Then make your Festive Ice:

  • Add 3 cranberries and a sprig of rosemary (or your favorite fresh herb) to each section of a large size ice cube tray.
  • Fill each cube mold halfway with water and freeze for a few hours.
  • Once the water has frozen, add more water to the top and pop back in the freezer. (This will keep the decorative berries and herbs from floating to the top of your ice.)

🍹 And finally it’s time to assemble your Gingery Pear Mocktail:

  • When you are ready to serve, pour Gingery Pear Juice into a cocktail glass (about ½ way up).
  • Add 1 Festive Ice Cube.
  • Fill glass to the brim with sparkling water.
